Why doesn't the BP DOS software run in the DOS Operating System (DOS-OS)?

Summary
This change was made in order to allow Engineering to continue to add algorithms and improve the software. In the 16-bit DOS application, we were limited in what we could do in the future. This change was necessary in order to continue to support updates and new algorithms in the software. We realize that the program does not technically run in the DOS operating system anymore, however, it does run when you select the MSDOS prompt from the Start menu in Windows, and this is referred to as a DOS-Shell program. We felt that keeping the same name would make this change more congruent.
