The 4000 series from BP Microsystems is the industry standard for automated fine-pitch programming systems and is used by the leading OEMs, contract manufacturers, programming centers, and electronic distributors around the world—so much so that we’ve shipped more fine-pitch automated systems than all competitors combined.

BP Microsystems now offers the 4700 with FX4 Technology for up to four times the throughput from just one machine.

The 4700 is designed specifically for today's highest density devices and their longer programming times, including Flash. It does this by combining the industry's fastest universal programming technology, 64Mb in 15s*, and BP Micro's new FX4socket modules. FX4 socket modules program up to four devices simultaneously. With 11 programming sites, that means you can program up to 44 devices at the same time and take advantage of four times the throughput.

This powerful combination, unmatched in the industry, means higher throughput, reduced cost per device and faster turnarounds. What this means to you: higher profits for your business.

Look at what 7th Generation Technology can do for your throughput at different device densities:

Unsurpassed Device and Package Support
The 4700 is not just limited to FX4 socket modules but can use any of the over 400 BP Micro automated socket modules available today. So with the unsurpassed throughput comes the unsurpassed versatility to program the most extensive range of devices. Support includes the latest FPGAs, MCUs, PLDs, and memories including Flash in packages from the smallest µBGAs to the largest QFPs. No other automated programmer supports more devices and packages.

While other systems require you to change out whole sites when programming different device technologies, the 4700 requires just a socket module change.

Easily Upgrade to 7th Generation Technology
Because BP Micro technology is modular, any previous generation of 4000 series handler can be upgraded to 7th Generation Technology without losing existing device support. So as Moore's Law marches on, with BP Microsystems you'll be able to upgrade when demand dictates.

Simplified Maintenance & Training
Even though this is the most powerful automated programmer available, maintenance and training could not be more simple. While other systems may have up to 17 separate computers, the 4700's single computer controls all the functions including the handler, marking options, and programming. This simplifies software and hardware troubleshooting. With self-teaching, fast and easy changeovers and reduced maintenance, training could not be easier. In one half-day session our engineers will show your operators the ins and outs of the easiest automated programming system on the market.

Setting the Standard in Device Programming
For over fifteen years, BP Microsystems has led the way in advanced device programming and customer-focused support. We've introduced industry-leading technologies before any of our competitors that provide our customers with the most flexible, value-focused programmers available. From the first automated programmer with vision centering to the first concurrent programmer, and the first In-Line Programming System, BP Microsystems continues to introduce technologies that set the standard. Today, we support virtually every device available and release new programming algorithms every six weeks. Our high level programming language means that the same algorithms run on BP engineering programmers as well as production programmers, ensuring a smooth and rapid transition from prototype to production. BP Microsystems also provides comprehensive technical support and user training in more than 57 countries around the world.
