How do I get an RMA for my failing equipment?

Contact Customer Service or your local BP Microsystems representative or authorized service center with the following information:

1) Programmer, Socket Module or other equipment name
Example: BP-1400/84

2) Serial Number if applicable. Usually found on a label on the bottom or back of your programmer.

3) Please give a description of the problem including software version being used. If sending email, screen captures of the errors diagnostic results are helpful.

4) Please run diagnostics available in the software. To access diagnostics test in BPWin go to Tools/Programmer Diagnostic. In BPDos you can start the diagnostics test from Device/Select and type in BP Microsystems Diagnostics. Again, if sending email, a screen capture of your errors will be helpful.

5) Once you have this information call Customer Service at 800-225-2102 if in the U.S. or by emailing to: Customer Service

6) If the equipment is not under warranty a PO is required to receive an RMA number. The PO amount must be minimum $150 for evaluation. This fee will be applied to the first hour of labor. Charges for RMA if non-warranty are $150 an hour labor after first hour evaluation/labor fee, plus parts. You will also be required to pay for return shipment or provide your shipper account number and priority.
Upon request we can provide an estimate of repairs beyond your $150 PO.

7) Once all pertinent information is received your RMA will be created and you will be advised with RMA number and shipping instructions.
